John Caruana
“Hi, my name is John Caruana and I want to tell you want made me become so interested about the gym.
I was born in 1972 and 2 years later I got hit by a car. I was in a coma for a couple of days because I had fluid in my brain and the doctors said to my parents “if he comes out of this I don’t know if he will be able to walk”. From the waist down I was in plaster for a few months for my legs to heal up. After I had the plaster I had shoes that came up to my ankles and sticks to try to walk again. During the years my body was getting stronger and I was able to walk by myself. When I turned 17 I walked into a gym and everyone stared at me and I said to myself, if they want to stare, they can. When I started to put weights on the bar they were shocked and even now people can’t believe the weight I’m lifting. I train 7 days at Derrimut from 4:00am to 8:00am and I would like to see you there to achieve your goal, I did”
